xenia with not enough light

what will happen to xenia with not enough lights say a NO lighting ? How long will it take for them to fade away ?

they won't IME. in my 180g i had tons of it in the display and clipping it with scissors to remove it just spread it all over the place, some of which ended up in the sump/fuge, the fuge was 2' x 6' divided into three 2x2 compartments, it grew in every compartment and the only one that got direct light was on the far end and it was just a single 55w PC. in the low light it didn't pulse as good and it was always long and stringy and very dark brown in color but it lived and spread none the less.
