xznia

I would think so. I've found that most of my softies dont care if other softies are touching them, with the exception being mushrooms and my fiji yellow leather.

Are you talking about "Xenia" ??? I've got several types of xenia touching each other. I've never had it touch another coral so i can't comment on if it would sting/irrate other corals.....Good Luck

You can have members of the same species of Xenia touch eachother, but Ild be a little more cautious moxing species. I think most would be OK from a direct 'fighting' point of view, but you may wind up with one variety overgrowing the other if theyre that close together. Ild also be leery to mix different general together- say Xenia next to Cespitularia. I dont know that it would hurt anything, but it sure aint gonna help...

I've also had xenia grow over the base of my toadstool leather. Nothin bad happened, but i still pulled the xenia off nonetheless.

I have the red sea pom pom type growing 2-3 inches from the long silver tipped with no problems. It looks really cool having all the pulsing heads going at it, lol.

I can echo that various softs don't seem to bother one another much. I've got a zooanthid and a kenya tree basically touching and both seem fine.
