Y adapter and safety connector

I have 2 tunze 6055's that i need to control - i would like for one of them to have a battery back-up via a safety connector - ideally, i would like to control them both with one 7091 with a y connector, but, by using a Y connector, will that power both pumps in case of a power outage or can i select one pump to power in case of no power?? Thanks.

No, only the pump with the safety connector would be powered.
