Yellow and Black Heraldi Angelfish (Centropyge heraldi)

I'd assume it's like most dwarf's and nips on stuff, but could always end up with a bad one that devours them. :hammer:

Beautiful fish and I don't think that price is out of line. If you like it I'd say go for it!

If my tank wasn't still cycling, I would go for it myself. What a pretty fish! (A quick forum search came up with a handful of results about them eating corals though.)

Like I said it's a hit or miss on eating corals and also like I said mine use to but really leaves them alone. From what I've heard is they mostly like zoas and palys and I've got none of them.

It's pretty enough to risk it, but then again, I always have had better luck with keeping fish than corals. :/

It is a dwarf angel, of course it will be hit or miss. IMO with dwarf angels if you feed them multiple times they won't pick at corals. I do agree that it is pretty enough to risk it.

The only angel that I've ever had that nipped at anything was a Regal; he only ate zoas and palys. Never touched anything else.

i have had one of these in the past, nice fish but the black spot tends to fade and soon turns to a plain yellow fish.
