yellow belly hippo vs regular blue hippo

Is there a difference that we can tell between these while they are a smaller size, around 2-3"? If there isn't, how do you know that you bought a yellow belly hippo besides waiting until it matures/gets bigger and see if it develops the yellow belly?

I never owned a standard hippo but I did buy a few yellow bellies. They developed a yellow belly around 2"+ & I bought them around 3/4" - 1". They were awesome & very active. They grew fast - I can't believe how fast.
