Yellow Carpet

I have the opportunity to purchase a large yellow carpet that the dealer insists is not dyed. I have a well established 120 gallon tank that already houses a blue carpet. What does everyone think? Do yellows occur and if so what color should they be? Does anyone have a picture of a yellow?

It may not be dyed, but that doesn't mean it isn't bleached and would likely be green when healthy.

Which carpet? Atlantics are quite often yellow.. We need to know the species before offing a opinion. I agree with criccio too.

Mertens carpets are often a mustard yellow color. I have seen some yellow haddonis, again usually a mustard. The giganteas that come in yellow are usually very bleached.

If the base is yellow, it is most likely dyed. If just the tentacle tips are yellow then it isn't.
A pic of my merten's carpet.

I don't have any digital pics of my yellow haddoni. I gave it away a looong time ago.

alot of local stores misidentify carpet anemones often. They think they have a haddoni.. when it is actually a mertensii or a very bleached green gigantea.
My mertensii has yellow tips too but under actinics they look orange.

This is about as close as I have seen to a healthy yellow Haddoni, and I don't consider it yellow, more tan.
