Yellow Clown Gobies

Hello, will yellow clown gobies feed on the copepod and amphipod overpopulation in my 6 gallon nano? I have no fish right now and was going to add a pair of yellow clown gobies. If this is the case, can I feed them less than once per day?

I have never noted my clown goby picking at anything where you'd expect to find pods (rocks, tank sides, gravel bottom). I've only noticed it feeding on things floating in the water column; frozen brine and mysis and newly hatched brine.

I have two of them in different tanks, Only one seems interested in hunting pods. The other will happily wait to for feeding time. You may need to try a few to get one that will eat pods. even if you find one it may not make a visible impact on you population.

Well I thinks its more an issue with a clown being compatible with your 6 gallon tank. I wouldn't try it, its one of the harder things with nanos. Not to many fish will be happy in such a small place.

A tomato clown is too big for a 6 gallon tank. They get agressive as they grown so would be a poor match for you clown goby.
