Yellow Clown Goby- Trouble feeding

This guy is SO HARD TO FEED. I've had him for almost a week. Mainly the problem is his mouth is so small!

The past 4 days, i've been target feeding him with a home made food, but sadly he snips at like 1 of the smallest pieces and gives up.

I am getting worried since he hasn't fatten up. He does snatch at the food when I feed him. He just ignores it after the first nip.

I'd like to keep him alive and get him eating better. Any suggestions ( btw, before asking here I've read a lot of different people having the same issues. . . )

I added a tiny one as well 2 months ago. It took him about 3 days before he showed an interest in food. When he finally did he was doing the same as you described. picking at pellets or whatever i was putting in and just could not eat them because his mouth was so small. Now i have him eating frozen mysis and new spectrum 0.5mm sinking pellets (the smallest i was able to find). He eats both. He hasn't fattened up to where i would like to see him but i do see him eating every day. I also put in cyclopeeze (not frozen) which he will go after as well.
