Thinking about putting one in my reef to get some yellow coloring. Anyone have any experience with this fish? Will it bother my cleanup crew? Worried about my snails and peppermint shrimp....

Once mature it will pick on the peppermints somewhat, but the largest impact will be on pods.

If you must have a wrasse in a reef, that would be a good choice.

For yellow coloring, maybe consider a Midas Blenny, or Candy Hog? Both beautiful and reef safe.

JC are you sure it killed your clam or was it possibly trying to eat whatever did kill your clam, such as pyrimid snails?
