Yellow corris wrasse ?

Hey everyone quick ? are the yellow corris wrasses clam and snail safe? I'm wanting to do a trio (small) in my tank. Anybody have any experience with these? Heard they eat clams.

the clam will be fine and the snails will be at risk but if you feed the wrasse regularily you wont miss many .he may pick at them every now and then unless he is very small and hasn't learned that yet . how small/big is he ?

I have one with snails (no clams yet), and I haven't seen him pick at any... however, good news for those that do have clams, I've read they eat the dreaded pyramid snails that irritate clam mantles, so definitely a good addition to a reef tank and a very nice splash of yellow.

Oh... and they aren't actually part of the "coris family" and are not supposed to be as much of a risk to inverts (really no risk at all) as fish that are from that family.

My only comment to this thread is that they get surprisingly large, surprisingly fast, IME. :D
