Yellow Fiji Leather??

Does this look like an authentic Yellow Fiji Leather or is it one of those dyed toadstools? I recently lost a large Yellow Fiji Leather that I had for ~8 years and replaced it with this one. The supplier identified it as a YFL but it has a more defined stalk than my previous Fiji. I know that you can usually identify a YFL by growth close to the rock instead of a stalk, short polyps and the ruffled appearance of the cap. I'm just not sure about this one.

TIA,
Veronica

Do you know if there's a way to tell if it's dyed? I'd like to get my $$ back if it's not the real deal. Thx!

Here is a link from a coral ID website. The SE on this site has a bit of a stalk, like my new one. I guess I'll just have to wait until it's fully acclimated in my tank and the polyps come out. I should be able to tell from the polyps. The edges of the cap are curled like the ones in the pics below also. Hopefully my new guy is authentic.

I will post pic when it's opened. The supplier assured me they do not send out dyed corals as sarcophyton elegans. They had me send photos for their aquaculture facility to confirm. I'll let you know what they say.

Thx for the input!

OK, my leather has been opening nicely for quite awhile now but this is the first chance that I've had to upload a pic and I think everyone will agree, although this isn't the best picture, that this is a true Yellow Fiji Leather. I am very happy about this. The tentacles are nice and fuzzy looking (you can't really tell in the picture) and the stalk has become less pronounced and is starting to look more like my old specimen. The coral edges are curled and ruffly looking.

Thanks for your help.

Veronica
