I was wondering if anyone has kept these for an extended period of time.

i got a really nice piece and have it in a 5 gal w/only a power head for circulation. I added cyclopleeze and crushed flakes. All the polyps are out but dont really see them grabbing things although the food seems to be disapearing.

what do you guys feed your gargos and do you see their polyps actually grab food and pull it in?

thanks for your help.

check out garfs.
mine died and I could never get it too eat. but they say it is easy and they grow it like a weed

I have the yellow one for about a month, been feeding them with oyster egg.. twice a week, target feeding when the polyps are open. I can't see if they're grabbing the eggs.. because the oyster eggs are too small for our eyes to see.. after a minute or two, they're retracting their polyps in.. I hope they're eating it :D...

it was my understanding that all this stuff, oyster eggs, dt's ect, are all too small for them and they can't eat them
