Yellow fungus on my toadstool?!

Just woke up this morning and noticed a bit of yellow fungus like stuff on the end of my toadstool leather. None of the polyps are growing there and it obviously looks real bad so I thought I would ask you what it is and what I can do to get rid of it and get my coral looking better again.

Can you remove it for a dip?

I can. The toadstool is REALLY big and what should I dip it with?

Now that I think about it, my torch coral might have brushed up against those spots, could that have done the trick?
