Yellow Goby Feeding

I have had my 59 litre nano tank about 18 months. I have just put a yellow goby in. My first fish.

It is not taking my food offerings. I've only had it 4 days. I've tried flake, mysis, nyos goldpods, lps pellets. Maybe I should try beluga caviar

It seems healthy, fins are up, and is enjoying the space.

My question is, given the relatively large amount of pods wandering around with no previous predators, will the goby be eating the pods?
Anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks in advance.

My yellow watchman goby eats everything including pellets, flakes, brine shrimps and even seaweed for tangs. Maybe you can try brine shrimps, i find most fish like them. My YWG used to be very shy but i paired it with a pistol shrimp, since then its been more active and fatter (i target feed near their burrow with shrimp flesh once a week) Maybe you can consider pairing it with a pistol shrimp if you have a sandbed (>2 inches), the goby will feel a lot more comfortable and its super fun to watch!

Are we talking about a watchman goby or a clown goby?

I have had clown gobies a few times and each one had to be started on live newly hatched brine shrimp and weaned to frozen.

Sorry for the confusion. Its a clown goby. It appears lively so I assume it is getting food from the tank. I have got 18 months of pod growth for it to get through
