Yellow Gorgonian

Stay away from Marine Snow (placebo) and other bottled "foods" a/k/a "pollution". Cyclop-Eeze is a much better choice and a very good food. Baby brine shrimp will also suffice. As stated, these are really hard to keep long-term. You need to be really diligent about feeding. With a lot of feeding comes a lot of waste and potential for fouled water. I would dissolve some Cyclop-Eeze in some system water, turn your pumps off and gently baste the polyps with a turkey baster. Keep the pumps off for a good 1/2 hour to allow the polyps to feed.

Abulgin what if the polyps are not opening much as I stated below: Thank you shelley

"It opened up a lot when we got it 6 days ago as you can see in the pic, but over the last 3 days it hardly opens just a few polyps here and there. What do you all think?"

You may need to tease out the polyps by basting them over and aver. Could also just be settling in/acclimating.

if it isnt opening maybe brush it
could be sand or a bit of algae collecting on it. when ours gets sand on it it wont open much but after a good dusting it opens up all the way. and if that doesnt work put it in more flow, enough so that you can see it moving a bit.

and we dont target feed ours. we add the food to the water

also check it at night. it usually opens up the most at night
