I really love the polyp extention on this coral. Really pretty close up.

I need help with my gorgorian. I've had it for a few days and I don't enough about it. I was told to wedge it between rocks. True? How and when does it eat?
Thanks

Gregorian chants are cool, but what you have there is a beautiful shot of a gorgonian! I have the same one and it is also one of my favorites:

wmc - they seem to like low light, high flow and they are a filter feeder so they must have a fine food source. What are you feeding the tank? I wouldn't wedge it at all, it needs good flow all around.

The best method that I have found is to epoxy the base to a piece of rock. Then place the rock where you want it in the tank. The same can be done with fragging, drill a hole into a piece of rock and then epoxy the fragment into the hole.

It should be placed in an area of high water flow and should be fed at least a couple times a week. I use a turkey baster with a piece of tubing attached to spot feed it up stream. It gets fed a combination of Cyclopeeze, zooplankton, oyster eggs and Coral Frenzy. Other people report success with baby brine shrimp as well.

Might I ask what lens you were using for that shot, Nikon_Guy?

I took mine with a Rebel Xti and the kit lens.

I have one allmost the same but it is red. What do you feed yours? I feed mine cyclopese. How long have you had your? I just fragged off a peice from my neighbors tank.
