Yellow headed goby odd behavior

Hey RC, I bought a pair of yellow headed gobies from the same tank at the LFS 3 weeks ago. They portrayed the usual shy behavior for the first week and a half. Now they are out and about doing there thing.. today I noticed one of them, the smaller one, the fins looked chewed up a little. After observing them swim around and eat with one another, I noticed the bigger one pecking at the body and fins of the smaller one. Why? Should I treat with prazipro? The smaller one still hangs around and continues like nothing happened. Tank parameters are in check for my 150g. Any help would be appreciated thank you :)

May be pairing behavior. Or dominance. Just observe. If you note any actual bleeding sore, you might put that one in qt with an eye to returning it healthy to the store.

Looked them up, and they are rather like the more combative clowns, and will continue to fight if pairing does not happen. If that happens, get the weaker healthy and trade for, oh, a royal gramma or such.
