yellow polyps and green mushroom

i received my yellow polyps yesterday and they have not opened up. My green hairy mushroom has not either. i have them both at about mid tank under the light. i did 5 hours no light after being introduced then did 3 hrs actinic/blue then turned the whites on. I am using led lighting. My question is could they be not opening up because of too much light or not enough. Should i lower them in the tank and see. Im not really sure where to go from here.

I would put them lower and give them a little while to acclimate, I know of some people who have had certain zoas stay closed for 3 months until they finally opened up

Yes. Put them lower and wait a while. Like gordon said they may just take a little time. I had some poylps stay closed for a little over a week once.

yup, but i think you need to move the mushrooms away from the light
