Yellow polyps, should I keep them?

I have a frag of yellow polyps and I really like them, but I am afraid of them taking over the rock they are on. The same rock has some zoas and red mushrooms. Are they safe there or should I remove them?

I agree with both of the above statements. They are very pretty in my opinion. But I would highly recommend isolating them on their own rock in the sand somewhere. My vote is keep them.

I have moved them to a rock that is isolated from the rest of the structure, so unless they can jump 6", they can grow all they want. The only other thing on that rock is some green hairy mushrooms and they seem to be very aggressive growers as well. I guess we will see who wins the battle when they meet in the middle.

I enjoy the look of mine and have them isolated on an island rock, but they still get around if I am not vigilant. From what I can tell they grow onto the sand where they're not firmly anchored and then can get moved/blown around the tank some. In my tank they tend to end up underneath one of the circ pumps I have near the back wall. Easily managed though, I just keep an eye out for them in other locations where I don't want them.
