Yellow Star Polyps and SPS

One of my frags toppled over into a bed of yellow star polyps and the tips are now bleached. Are yellow star polyps a big no no in a SPS tank?

i have seen then melt xenia's so... i guess it's possible

I don't think they're a no-no, but they will kill some SPS that they touch. I've got them all over my tank, and periodically will pluck off a hundred or so where they're getting too close to other things.

I kind of wish I never put them in, but then again, I like the way they look, and the way they move in the current.
