yellow striped/gold banded ?

Are yellow striped maroon clowns fish the same as gold banded maroon?
The reason I ask is that a few months ago I bought a gold striped maroon...whose stripes were white at the time. As I was told to expect, the stripes are starting to finally turn yellow....at least the stripe on the head....is turning a very light yellow. But after I got this fish , I saw some others that were smaller than mine is now but their stripes were already bright yellow.....Is there a difference between gold banded/yellow banded/gold striped etc?

na. theyre the same. the head band starts to color out at about a yr old and the rest of the stripes slowly after that. my juvi was completely white striped when i got him, his head band started to turn yellow and the rest of the stripes soon followed.,

remember the size of the fish does not tell you a thing about the age of the fish juvis and males will stay smaller than the female. juvis will stay juvis as long as theyre is a male and female already present

Thanks, that makes sense...since there were about 15 fish in the tank at the lfs, they would be staying small until a female became established. I'm just hoping the stripes get darker/bolder as right now you can only see the yellow in just the right light. Thanks again.
