Yellow tang issues

A few times in the last week or 2 I have noticed what appear to be "pieces" of the tang floating around the tank. Small stringy chunks of something bright yellow. I'm assuming its from my tang because it is the only thing in the tank that is yellow. But looking at the fish I can't really notice anything out of the norm. Anyone else ever seen anything like this?

No I haven't seen something like that. I doubt it's coming from him.

Please don't say this in the 24 gallon, yellow tangs require 100 gallon tanks. The white stringy poo may be a parasite

Way too small tank for a Tang even if is very small. May seem like its OK but they like plenty of room. We had one in a 55 many years ago and it got Lateral Line. Many say they shouldn't be in the Hobby since they stress in captivity no matter how big the tank is.
