Yellow tang not eating and getting thin

I have had this Yellow tang for about 5 years in the same tank.
I have not added anything new in about a year.
I have not changed foods in 5 years.
All water Params are great except for the ph which has been at 7.8ish

I have noticed over the past few weeks he seems to be getting thin. I have not seen him eat in about 2 weeks. He is usually a hyper fish but now he is moving to a side of a tank with no activity or moves infront of my HoB filer or Skimmer. he seems to be up at the top of the tank alot now where he is normally down low. when me or my wife gets next to the tank he is now comming up to the glass as to show us something is wrong. when i stick my hand into the tank he is now comming up to my arm ad rubs up aginst it. I see no visual signs on the exterior that shows itch or any other abnomalities except from him being thin.

Thank you for your support.

Any new fish additions lately?

You might try some live brine shrimp ... helps jump start finicky fish into eating mode.

Ok. Sad to say I think he is going to die. i gave him a fresh water dip and I think it drained him, big-time. I have a holing cell in the tank with him in it but he is laying on his side. I wonder if there is any hope. he is still breathing though.
