yellow tang stress

Every time i turn of the light at night my yellow tang gets strest

out is thet normal ? if not what can i do.

I know this is off subject, but he looks really thin. Try to fatten him up a little.

What are you feeding?

what you are describing sounds like just night time coloration.

they tone their colors down to blend from night predators.

no you know the yellow tangs get this white line on his side

when he gets stressed

i feed him blood worms and some see weed

That white line is also typical night time coloration Other than needing the feeding upped a bit, he looks good. Try and feed the seaweed such that there is a piece in there all day to pick on. Trade in the blood worms for some marine based foods. Formula Two from Ocean Nutrition is excellent for tangs, nice mix of veggies and meaty foods.

mine does the same...and i feed him a ton.
sure its the nightime coloration thing.
