Yellow tang w/ nipped fins

My yellow tang has been through a lot since I got him 2 months ago. He got the black ich so I dipped him in fresh water a couple times and then that went away. The he started to get red blotches on him. I did a couple 20% water changes and that went away. Now he has 3 little nips in his fins. It almost looks like he got his fins nibbled on. I dont think this is the case since I only have a coral beauty, auriga Butterfly, goby, and two clowns and I have never seen any of them attack him. Could this be a disease of some sort? I feed him mysis, flakes, and algea. Thanks for your help.

I would improve its diet. Check this out:

With the supplements mentioned above and an improved diet, the fish will stand a better chance at healing itself.

The Auriga butterfly can be a bit of bully in a tank it has been in for a few months. If the tang came in after the Auriga, the Auriga would 'be offended.' It may or may not however express its offense on the tang.

Make sure your display doesn't have an excess of bacteria by removing uneaten foods, decaying matter, detritus, and generally performing regular clean-up maintenance.
