yellow tang

i just added a yellow tang to my 45 gallon aspiring reef tank, was this a dumb idea? i heard that the yellow tang is one of the smaller tangs and ever since i saw it in hawaii i just have been dying to get one.

it will most likely outgrow the tank, but it will take a while..tangs do need alot of swimming room...for a yellow tang, i wouldn't go lower than a 75g or 90g, but it will be ok in a 45g..they can get stressed from being in a small tank...
