Yellow Watchman and his missing jaw?

I have been real busy today and did not have time to pay attention to see how often the goby was out. But after thinking about it now, I don't think he was out hardly at all. I went to feed him and I noticed his jaw looked weird and he rubbed himself face first into the sand. Then it hit me, he is sick!

Can anyone tell me what this is and how to treat it? I do have coral in the tank and its about impossible to get goby out of the tank. Can I treat the tank without losing the corals?

Sorry for the bad image he was not very camera friendly today.

Some isopods can actually live on the fishes tongue. The pod will slowly eat the fishes tongue and jaw away until the fish is dead.

I'd take him out of the DT and put him in QT under Hyposalinity and try to kill the pod.

If it's NOT an isopod, the worse thing you did was get him out of the DT and prevent it from spreading if it's a fungus or other parasite.

Just an idea. Don't know if thats it or not. I'd get him out of the DT and put him in QT until you figure out what it is.
