Yellow Watchman Death

So, found my yellow watchman goby dead in my tank. Have not had a chance to test my water, will test it as soon as possible. Their has been no weird behavior, its been eating fine, no recent additions for the past 6 months. Tankmates are a pair of black and white ocellaris clowns, tiger pistol, and a number of hermit crabs and snail. Everything else is fine, no odd behavior. Any idea what happend?

I have been starving the tank for the past few days, combating alage. That may be it. Water parameters look fine:

Salinity: 1.025
Ph:8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10
