Yellow watchman goby, lost color

My YWG has lost all yellow about 4 months ago. He keeps getting larger, just no more color. Is this normal?

Yes, there is a less common gray/white color form. It's doesn't indicate gender, and they can change from yellow to white or white to yellow. Nobody is really sure why they change.

I believe yours is probably a female yellow watchmen goby, i think female turn pale once they mature
