I have had mine for two years and he hardly ever sifts sand.

Mine is just pretty lazy and comes out to "sunbathe" but otherwise he hangs in his burrow and just waits for me to target feed him. Not much sand sifting. But maybe that's because I have aragonite and not really fine grain sand. How do others here feed their watchman?

I have only caught mine sifting a couple times, and I have had it 2-3 months. But it has definitely moved around a bunch of sand...constantly changing/adjusting the burrow.

As far as feeding...I have not had to spot feed...it always swims out and gets the food.
