Yellow watchman sick or stressed or what? Pic inside.

I got this yellow watchman about two weeks ago and he's looked like this the entire time. I've treated with a light dose (was trying to get him to eat) of prazipro and also treated with cupramine. I've been getting him to eat a couple pellets of NLS Thera A pellets at each feeding but that's all he will eat and maybe two pellets. He just looks really dull and colorless. Any ideas? FYI this is in QT and I do vacuum it about twice a week, about to do that here in a bit, most of that isn't loose, it's stuck to the bottom. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1404070997.613050.jpg

Was it yellow when you bought it? If so, it could just be stress from being in the artificial environment of your QT. It looks to me like the fish's night color.

On the other hand, I know some watchman gobies just look like this. I seem to recall that females are more likely to have a greyish color, but I'm not sure about that. If you bought it online, it may just be pale.

As you know, prazi and copper do suppress appetite. These fish will usually eat anything, but you might want to try something a little more enticing, like PE mysis or some other frozen food.

Also be sure he's got some hiding places. Looks like you've got some pvc pipe in there with him, so that should be ok.

Yes it was more of a yellow color when I bought him (saved from petco), but within the first day, he was looking like this. Maybe its because I have no sandbed, and no QT lights. I know the treatments suppress appetite which is why I did light doses, I have tried feeding Frozen mysis, Frozen LRS Reef Frenzy, frozen marine feast, and NLS Thera Pellets. The NLS Pellets are the only thing he hits on. Pieces of clams, squid, shrimp etc can hit him in the face and he doesn't budge. I guess as long as he's eating some I'm ok. ust wanted to make sure no one thinks he looks diseased.
