yellow wrasse any idea?

So after much research into different wrasses I decided i wanted to add a yellow wrasse to my tank,Halichoeres chrysus, I believe well I havnt added a fish to my tank in 6 months, never had any viral or bacteria issues. I test my water earlier this week everything fine except nitrates at 15ppm not unusual for my tank (55gal) I havnt added any new corals either. well I finally went to the lfs yesterday and they had my wrasse in stock, they get their fish on wed morning (I went in wed evening) I had them feed the fish, it ate. took it home and acclimated it for an hour. Then before I put it in the tank I put 2 drops methylene-blue in the bag after 10 seconds I scooped the fish out and put it in the tank. Fed it an hour after putting in the tank and it ate a little bit. I went to bed 5 hours after putting it in the tank and it was fine then. I woke up this morning and it was dead on its side. Did i maybe get a fish that was in shock from the travel earlier that day? is an hour not enough time to acclimate? I do the same procedure for every fish Ive added this is the first time one has shown up dead that morning.

I drip all of my fish between 45 minutes to an hour. It's hard to say what killed it. I had one fish that died the next day, but most others have lasted at least a few days to a week. I don't usually feel comportable that they'll make it until they've survived about 2 months. It's possible it was the stress from shipping. I'm assuming that there were no signs of it being attacked.

no signs of attack, i wanted to ge the fish shortly after arriving so it didnt have a chance of catchign disease from any of the other fish in the LFS system but im thinking i should wait a day or two now from arrival.

do you have a sandbed? and i doubt a 10 second dip in methylene blue will do anything besides stress the fish out further.
