hello all,
so I had 3 yellow wrasses for about 7 months.
all were small when I got them, but after a while one of them grew larger and started changing color with green and red marking on its find and face ... I assume turned into male. all 3 used to go around together, kind of in a school ...
2 weeks ago, I come home to find the largest one[with color change] dried up on the floor :S so I assumed it has jumped. ... but now I see the other wrasse has changed color and supposedly taken the other dudes place !
here is my question, was the male chased out of the tank by the other one ? do they live in pairs ? or trios ? or was it a simple case of no top for the tank so the fish jumped out ... and other one took its place?
thanks.
