Yet another Monti ID

I know, you guys must get tired of making ID's, but I have yet to find an id for this in the past few months, now that its a little bigger maybe somebody can help...

When I first got it...

if you have read or looked at corals of the world by j e n veron you would know that there are about 100 diffrent monty species and about 30 that this could be.
 
Looks a lot like my M. aquituberculata....

Agreed.

Looks like M. confusa, but based on frag it's quite difficult to differentiate between species.
 
Thanks guys! yes i understand there are many different species and no i do not own or have looked at the book...was just looking for a shortcut answer ;)

Oddballs, I didn't realize owning or reading certain literature is required before asking a question of others thoughts, so does this mean you are going to send me the book to read so I don't make the same mistake twice? :rolleyes:
 
Alten78, I have the set of 3 books and didnt look,lol. Just knowlegable guess i guess.lol. It also looks like a hydno but the polyps give it away.
