Yet another Monti ID

I know, you guys must get tired of making ID's, but I have yet to find an id for this in the past few months, now that its a little bigger maybe somebody can help...

M. Confusa maybe???

if you have read or looked at corals of the world by j e n veron you would know that there are about 100 diffrent monty species and about 30 that this could be.

Agreed.

Looks like M. confusa, but based on frag it's quite difficult to differentiate between species.

Thanks guys! yes i understand there are many different species and no i do not own or have looked at the book...was just looking for a shortcut answer

Oddballs, I didn't realize owning or reading certain literature is required before asking a question of others thoughts, so does this mean you are going to send me the book to read so I don't make the same mistake twice?

Alten78, I have the set of 3 books and didnt look,lol. Just knowlegable guess i guess.lol. It also looks like a hydno but the polyps give it away.
