Yikes!!!

Last nite we took a tiny flashlight into our room where the tank is and we saw these little white things coming our of our frags and live rock then their tentacles came out they had 2 each and they were sooo long they were reaching out.. Even this morning there out we found white and black striped (tenticles or worms) not sure kind of hard to see

Just wondering if anyone had any clue what these were or any site we could check out??

Were they tube like with sand stuck to them?

no there stuck to the frags we pick up their white and have 2 tenticles we can only see half of them because the other half is in the rock but the tentacles are huge when they stretch them out (Long I mean)

i have one of these in my tank too its not doing any harm its pretty cool actually i have no clue what it is thow.

Yeah it just seems to be dragging its tenticles over the LR doesnt seem to be doing any harm im just curious to know what it is lol.... Also we have some Black and WHite tenticles coming from another frag their spiny looking ....

The black and white stripped things could be some type of star fish. Maybe a brittle star?

oh really thats cool.... we havent seen a body yet but the tenticles thers a dip underneath the frag so maybe the bodies under there and the tenticles are just coming out from underneath??

Brittle star is the first thing that came to my mind. I never do see my whole brittle star but I see his tenacles all the time. They look just like what you are describing.

I read about this in another thread a couple of days ago. Someone bought some LR and started seeming a bunch of tentacles and it turned out to be dwarf brittle stars.
