YIPPEE!! New LFS by me!

Driving down Mustang Road yesterday, I see a new sign up. It says "Tanks A Lot."

I'm thinking, somewhat sarcastically, "Oh boy, we need another screenprinting place." Then I read the rest of the sign, which says freshwater, saltwater and goldfish. This is getting better and better.

I stopped in, but of course it was late and no one was there. Nor were there any hours or grand opening days posted. As soon as I find out more, I'll be sure to let everyone know. There was a phone number listed, but of course I didn't think to copy it down.

Just as an FYI, this store is on Mustang Road, just south of Reno, on the west side of the street.

Great! He should know his stuff then! I'm really looking forward to opening day - what with my bank right up the street - and home not 5 minutes away......

Stopped by this weekend. Yup, it's Derrick from Aquarium Concepts, going out on his own. Let me take a quick run thru the store. Looks like it's going to be a nice setup. He is planning on carrying one wall of FW, one wall of SW and a back wall of goldfish.

He has a possible open date of May 2nd, but also has a new baby and sick wife, so it may be pushed back a little later. I'll keep this thread posted as I find out more.

man you beat me to it... I went and talked to him for almost an hour Saturday. Pretty much got the same info as April. I think it'll be pretty good, it's not too cluttered. He also does home servicing and he's thinking about having a pager for after hour emergency services.
