I've actually applied to the University of Hawaii. Considering a potential 2nd BS and possibly an MS in Marine Science / Tropical Ecology.

The University of Manoa is also a great marine degree school for the islands. The campus is small and well maintained, the fee's are comparable to mainland schools. The big island is one of the quietest places on earth, I miss how in tune the island is with nature, count me as super jealous. If you go to Maui make sure to dive the cathedral's, freaking awe inspiring for a reef hobbyist and once your above Dive Master level the boat dives take on so much more freedom.

Thanks for the info. Fortunately, It looks like we're going to Maui for the first 6 month at least. I found a similar dive program there. Beth and I weren't super keen on living in Oahu.
