Your best nano fish

In your experience what have been your favourite fish/fish combos in your small nano's?


Just general discussion, i'm sure there are a few people wondering what are the most enjoyable combos in a nano!!

depends how big If its like a 24 then you could have clowns couple gobies, firefish, etc...if its just a 12 then you could prolly only have a couple fish.

My fav have been my spotted mandarin Synchiropus picturatus who is eating frozen food.

However, I got to say that lawnmower blennies are quite cool in nanos also. So much personality in that fish

I love my scooter blenny. Probably just a poor man's mandarin, but he's got lot's of personality.

I'd love to have a mandarin but I don't think that will be happening anytime soon.

I'll let my tank "age" before I really consider it.

six line wrasse

i wouldn't put a sixline in anything smaller than a 30...at which point it really isnt even a nano I've got one in my 40 breeder and that thing is sooo active.

Never had one in a nano, but I think a Helfrich's firefish would be awesome. Pricey though, as I'm sure you know

I've never had a clown that didn't kick the crap out of other fish in a nano.

Does your six-line bury itself in the substrate at night like some other dwarf wrasses?
