your favorit option lighting

For a mixed setup I'd recommend a T5HO setup. 6x54w or so.

Well you could still go T5 but otherwise 2x250w MH is a good option as well. Sort of depends on do you want glitter lines or not.

I'm actually considering losing my halides and going back to T5's. I'm probably the exception to the rule, but I miss my T5s.
When I had a 55, I had 4 x 54 watt T5's and loved it. Having had PC, VHO, MH and T5, I can say that, IMO, T5's are the way to go.
If you're set on SPS, halides are great. But, be aware that there are several gorgeous SPS tanks being kept with T5's as well.
