What is everybodies favorite hair algae eater, I finally have my phosphates in check and would like some tank mates that will help me clean up all the tight places I can't reach.

Right now there are 2 clarki clowns and 2 urchins, and misc. snails and crabs in my 55.

Yellow tang and lawnmower blenny (or Benny as my husband calls them )

I would also say a yellow tang or even an emerald crab or two.

I think it depends on the yellow tang, mine would rather starve than eat anything green. From what i heard they are one of the worst tangs to have as far as algae consumption. But then again i think it depends on the fish. Im in the process of capturing mine so i can trade him for something that will eat algae. Lawnmower blennys ive heard are good, ive had one but my mean tang chased him right out fo the tank and onto the carpet after the first day.

My lawnmower blennie is a algea eating machine. You can't go wrong with one of them (unless you buy it from Petco and it does 2 days later) like the one I just put in our office tank.

FoxFace Rabbitfish.... Cleaned up my hair algae in about 2 days.
Another option to consider is a sailfin mollie...Easy to acclimate to saltwater and will do a good job on the algae...the only downside I have heard about about is that they are pooping machines But what do you expect from a fish that eats like a cow.
