I know some day I will get into photography, but until then i need help locating high res macro shots of corals that I can print for art work in my house. I love the shots here in this forum, but the file sizes are too small for the commercial printing equipment I have access to, just doesnt due it justice. I want the prints to pop like they do on the iMac. Thanks in advance for any direction!

Most people post their images in low resolution to prevent people from downloading them and doing what you're suggesting. It's, at the very least, unethical. In many cases it's a violation of copyright law. If you want someone's image, to have on your wall, purchase it from them.

Or you could ask them for it sometimes people do it for the enjoyment and are willing to share...no charge!

At the very least, offer to purchase. Who knows, you might get it for free anyway.

As an aspiring photographer, i have to agree with the responses here. If someone gave you high res files and the "right person" saw them hanging on your wall, you could stand to make some good money off someone elses art. I personally will only sell prints for this reason.
