What are your top 3 Goby's for cleaning the fine sand in a 55gal???
I want it to clean the whole tank, not just in front of their cave....
Pictures Wanted!
I have a Diamond Watchman Goby and he is doing a great job at cleaning the sand. Only Draw back, first two week, he was making a mess and particle was floating everywhere.
LOL, I know, but I prefer to give advise only on thing I have first hand experience, and the only other Goby I had was the yellow watchman, which is not a sand sifter....
Anything from the genus Valenciennea - the most common are the diamond and the gold head sleeper - will be the best sand sifters. Problem with with fine sand is it may never settle out. Diamond would be better because they tend to stay lower to the ground while spitting the sand out.
Twinspot signal gobies are also an option but they dont have a good track record in captivity.
