Yuma Help

I recently bought some live rock for my tank. To my surprise, at the bottom of the bucket, was a really pretty yuma. I threw it my tank and it seems to be shrinking quite a bit as well as closing and opening. What are the chances that it's gonna survive. It still has most of its color, but its looking mildly pale. Also where in the tank should it be? Do they like more light or less light?

Most Yumas would prefer to be on the sand bed and slightly "dirty" water.

preferred "dirty" water is a misconception created by people who found that they will do better in a filthy tank than in one that isnt fed enough with excellent parameters

You dont have to keep a dirty tank to have lots of nutrients in the water. You just need to be able to export them before they rot
