Yuma Lighting Question Pls Help!

I have been told that yumas like very low light. Is this true? I have a 37 gallon tank with 150W MH and 2x65 PC actinics. I realize that is some pretty strong light for the tank. One of my yumas is starting to shrivel. It has been low/middle in the dank with somewhat direct light.

Should I move the yumas to the bottom of the tank (24") and sheltered under some rock so it will not get too much light? My LFS says Yumas should receive medium to high light, however. In fact, he places his literally right under the MH and they look great. I don't get it!!! I don't have any problems with water quality.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

they'll stay open at the lfs right under the halides for a very short period of time, ie, until they are sold, usually just being under that much light at the lfs will kill them, so by the time you get them home, they're only starting to show the symptoms and take a week or three to finally die. try putting it in the shade, and feeding it mysid shrimp or other meaty foods to see if it'll come back

Hey man, thanks a lot. I have them shaded now and they seem ok. One really got messed up pretty bad though. Hopefully he'll make it.
