Yuma on a walk about......

Woke up this morning to fine my new yuma had walked itself about 3 inches from where it was last night. No big deal, he was open all of the way and normal color.

Eat breakfast, go back down stairs about an hour later to figure out what I'm going to do about him moving, considering how he's crawled over the top of two much smaller ones. I now find it hanging upside down from the bottom of my egg crate a few inches away from its rock.

Ok, it probably covered 5 or 6 inches in about an hour and flipped upside down in the process. Anyone ever have one run around their tank like that?? Or do I have a crazy fast one I'm going to have to cage up?

what kind of current do ya have it in , mine like low flow an low lighting..mine stay put if thier in low flow, if not the detach from the rock thier on..witch is a good way to take off a rock an frag them..

BIG SCOTT

It's a SEIO, 820, and a 30 gallon tank. The SEIO shoots left to right, along the back glass. Yumma was at the far front end of the tank with a couple of big rocks in the way of the flow.

It decided to drop off the egg crate and is sitting on the bottom of the tank now, so I don't think it'll move much anymore. The other few smaller ones are still on there. I know a regular mushroom that was on that rock took a jump off 2 days after I got the rock, but I figured the yumma would be fine.

maybe we could have a ricordia race once this one finishes growing its legs.
