keckles New member Jul 15, 2006 #4 It's both. It is Ricordea yuma. Ricordea is the genus, yuma is the species.
B Bin Weed New member Jul 16, 2006 #7 I guess the question was intended to identify whether it was a yuma or a florida ricordia.
keckles New member Jul 16, 2006 #8 Yes, but many people consider R. florida to be the "Ricordea", while thinking that R. yuma is a completely different type of mushroom genera. I just wanted to clear up the fact that both yuma and florida are species of Ricordea, and that the piece pictured is an example of R. yuma.

masterqaz New member Jul 17, 2006 #9 definatly a yuma, not only can you tell by the bumps on the mouth but the fact that the bumps on yumas are usually bigger around the edge.
