yuma question

Will a yuma split? I've got one doing something right now. It has slime covering a portion of it, the mouth is off-center. The color looks just like it always has, and all the other yuma's in the tank look "happy" as well. I've read that if they are unhappy they will usually detach from the rock they are on, or cover themselves in a brown colored slime. Is that true? The slime coming out of this one is white. Anyone have any insight?

If the "slime" is white does it look like little threads? If so it might be the messintary (sp) fillaments (guts) coming out. I think stress might make this happen.

no, not touching anything else. Wouldn't it loose color if it was stressed out, or try to move? The slime isn't coming from it's mouth, looked like it was coming from around the foot area, at least underneath the body.

Does it look like a tear or something in the foot and the white stuff (mesentery filaments) coming out? Did anything perhaps fall on it? If not, I would probably look at the tank during the night and see if you spot anything you didn't buy, crabs in particular.
