...like a lot of reef fish like leopard wrasses, most butterflies. You can get plenty of nasties from the water just on a frag plug or rock so unless you QT your coral, then no tank is 100% parasite free.

I have a zebra moray in my 120g reef with tiny fish, and a blood shrimp, and no problems whatsoever (he's roughly 30" long). He won't bother your clams other than maybe slithering over them from time to time. I love my eel :fish1:

I'd love to get a zebra eel myself and 120g is the most realistic for me to snag one day. Is he thriving in a tank that size? I would initially be worried getting an eel that size, however they mostly stay inside caves all day so I presume they can't feel too cramped if there natural habitat is confining.

There is a video on Youtube entitled Reef Aquarium June 2013. Shows a tank full of reef fishes and 2 eels, one of which is what the TS mentioned.
