Is this product any good and does it do what it claims?

Alot of times if something sounds to good to be true it is.

Could it overload your tank?

I do not know anything about it, but I presume it is a reactor media to maintain magnesium? Not a normal magnesium supplement,right?

If it is a reactor media (dolomite, presumably), then if you use too much, the alkalinity will rise relative to calcium. The alkalinity can get very high that way. It also cannot be used to raise magnesium,only maintain it, for the same reason.
