Anyone just dosig this to fed corals? Not using the whole system.

I have a whole zeo system. Debatable as to how long I will keep it. The zeofood is added to the tank along with the bacteria. The food is for the phosphate eating bacteria not the coral. Other bacteria growth alternatives are vodka or sugar. In my opinion the best coral food is fish waste, just add food and the fish do the rest.

I know but I have no fish right now in a 225g system and the corals are starting to turn tan. I think this is from too low nutrients so I was hoping to use an additive instead of fish. Looks like fish it might be.

Low nutrient tan.....I had that problem for years and didn't know why. If you want a cheap additive that will work, pee in your tank. Buying more fish maybe more sanitary

Feed some rotifers, oyster eggs, cyclopeeze and selcon mixture every 3 days...turn your skimmer off for 12 hours.....then you wont need more fish. I am BB and very low nutrient..i only have a pair of clowns so this is what i do. I target feed my acros this mixture with the skimmer off. So far everything is going well.
